  24. As it was already said, the problem lies with the buffers.
  25. This can be fixed without suspending the OS by the use
  26. of either a hardware fix inside the Amiga (difficult),
  27. or a nice Serial/Parallel converter that will plug in to
  28. your parallel port.
  29. You  can then access the parallel device
  30. instead of the serial one.
  31. You will normally be able to find such devices for 40 quid,
  32. if the Amiga parallel port is 100% standard.
