- As it was already said, the problem lies with the buffers.
- This can be fixed without suspending the OS by the use
- of either a hardware fix inside the Amiga (difficult),
- or a nice Serial/Parallel converter that will plug in to
- your parallel port.
- You can then access the parallel device
- instead of the serial one.
- You will normally be able to find such devices for 40 quid,
- if the Amiga parallel port is 100% standard.
